Love God: We believe God calls us to love Him with our whole heart and devote our lives to Him.

Love Others: We believe God calls us to invest in one another’s lives through relationships, care, and support.

Serve the Community: We believe we are called to serve others with the gifts and resources God has provided to meet the needs in our community and reach out with the life changing gospel message

WHAT TO EXPECT

Every Sunday we devote time to worshiping God through praise, prayer, preaching, and giving in a comfortable casual environment.

  • Praise is a significant part of our worship services at Southwest Baptist Church. We feature a mix of traditional and contemporary songs during the service for corporate worship. Every service is prayed over and designed to provide an opportunity to worship together through song.
 
  • At SWBC we also worship regularly through prayer. Prayer is far more than just uttering a few words and reciting phrases. We believe prayer is the conduit for sincere and direct communication with God.
 
  •  Every meeting at our church incorporates preaching/teaching that is firmly anchored in the word of God which we believe to be absolute truth. Our team of pastors prayerfully prepare each sermon as they preach through books of the Bible. Every week God speaks through our pastors as they proclaim His Word through their messages which are conveniently live streamed through our church Facebook page. Each service provides opportunities to respond to the Word of God both publicly and privately as the Spirit leads.

  • We believe giving to the Lord is an honor and an important form of worship. Giving can manifest itself in many ways such as: Tithing, Special Offerings, Volunteering time, Sharing Resources, Volunteering experience/knowledge. It is our belief that giving is a beautiful way to serve and worship God in obedience.
